Follow Your Bliss

I have always been one to ‘follow my bliss’. In 1984, after several years of mundane administrative work at a leading Sydney hospital, I took the plunge and moved to Perth in Western Australia to start a new life of self exploration and adventure.  This new chapter wasn’t just about  career, it was much more to do with me as a person, my purpose in life and my spiritual quest.

I started work at the University of Western Australia in Perth almost immediately and became a qualified ballroom dancing teacher, a Reiki channel and trained as a breath therapist.  I also discovered Self Realisation Fellowship (SRF), a world-wide meditation group founded by Paramahansa Yogananda that teaches Kriya Yoga.  To this day, my association with SRF and daily routine of meditation are essential elements to my life.  I am committed to self improvement and to being of service to others.

The Road Less Travelled

My other great passion is voluntary work in India.  I currently support a remote village school and children’s home in the foothills of the Himalayas in Northern India called Balmaitri Shishu Sansthan www.balmaitri.org.  I hold fundraising events and am endeavouring to find sponsors for the 40 children who live at the children’s home.

Issues relating to health and well-being have always been a driving force in my life.  This led me to successfully complete a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion) at Curtin University in 1989.  However, it took a drastic health challenge in India in 2008 to finally lead me to my new career.  I needed immediate help with ‘out of control’ health issues and at the same time wanted to be instrumental in helping other people to live healthier and happier lives.

I’ll Get By With A Little Help From My Friends

My close friend, Deborah Howlett,  introduced me to Activated Liquid Zeolite, a volcanic mineral which safely removes heavy metals and toxins from the body, allowing it to heal naturally. Since taking liquid zeolite, I’ve never felt healthier or happier.
